Edna Mae Jennings passed away peacefully Monday, April 3, 2013 at Four Seasons Residential Care Facility in Salem, Ore. She was born Jan. 9, 1934 in Arcadia, Neb. to Ernest and Gwen Cunningham.
Edna graduated from Okanogan High School in 1952. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Edna worked several diverse occupations throughout her life. She worked as a switchboard operator for the telephone company, worked in the orchards and packing plants, made plywood at Omak Wood Products and owned and operated a small diner in Prairie City, Ore., with her husband, Gene Jennings.
She is survived by one brother, Kenneth Cunningham, Riverside; one daughter, Gwen Monahan, Omak; one son, Victor Todd of Mills River, N.C.; several step-children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Crown Memorial Center, Salem, Ore. and Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel are assisting with arrangements.
