Judy Lynn (Spencer) Adcock was born in Tacoma, Wash., on Oct. 8, 1954. Judy graduated from Bethel High School in June 1973.
She married David Thompson and became parents to two boys, Doug, in 1974; and Mike, in 1975. She lived with her family in Oregon for some time and then moved to Omak, Wash. in 1987, divorcing in 1988.
Judy married Sam B. Adcock and lived with the boys in Omak until 1993. They moved to a farm in Riverside, Wash., where Judy died suddenly at home of heart failure on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013.
Judy spent most of her hours each week at the casino, and most importantly, preparing for her favorite times of the year: Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Frances (Spencer) Knipe and Karl Spencer; and sister, JoAnne (Spencer) Munce. She is survived by husband, Sam Adcock, of Riverside; sons, Doug and Mike Thompson, both of Omak; sister, Jill (Spencer) Rolstad, of Spanaway; two brothers, John Spencer, of Puyallup, and Jay Spencer, of Tacoma; step-father Ron Knipe, of Spanaway; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebrating her life will be held Mother’s Day weekend 2014. Please contact the family about memorial details.
She will be so greatly missed by friends and family.
