In loving memory of David Lawrence Forsythe, who passed away peacefully on Feb. 5, 2013, at Three Rivers Hospital in Brewster Wash.
He was born Jan 18, 1943, to Lawrence V. and Ethel G. Forsythe of Twisp, Wash.
Dave lived his entire life in Twisp, graduating from Twisp High School in 1961 and working for the U.S. Forest Service until his retirement in 2003 at the age of 60.
Dave was an avid hunter who spent much of his time outdoors. He loved to camp and did so whenever he got the chance. He was much loved by his family and friends and will be missed greatly.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ethel Forsythe; two wives, Mary Ferrians Forsythe, and Donna Sandy Forsythe; and a son, David L Forsythe Jr. He is survived by his children, Jamie Forsythe, Twisp, and Shad (Leila) Forsythe, Munich Germany; three grandchildren, Tiffany Lewis Twisp, Annabelle and Wyatt Forsythe, Munich Germany; two sisters, Patti (Bob) Anthony, Omak and Laurel (Ron) Hanks, Omak; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the Twisp Community Center. A potluck luncheon was held after the service at the Twisp Eagles.
Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel and the Okanogan County Crematory LLC are in care of the arrangements.
