Billy Ray Cunningham, 75, Omak, died Jan. 3, 2013, at Harmony House in Brewster, Wash.
He was born Oct. 18, 1937, in Tonasket Wash., to Ernest and Gwen Cunningham.
He married Jerry Ross in 1959 after he got out of the service. He then married Phyllis Heinkle in 1978. Then he lived out his life with Patricia Belgarde.
He was a loving dad and grandfather who always opened his arms and his heart to anyone who was in need. He loved to read his Louis L’Amour books, cook and hang out with friends.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary J. Ribble of Spokane, Sherri Taylor of Longview, and Candy Campbell of Nevada; one brother, Kenneth Cunningham of Riverside; and lifetime friend, Juanita Davidson. He is survived by too many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends to mention.
He was preceded in death by both parents, sisters, Peggy Alvard of Orting and Glenda Cunningham of Omak; and a dear friend, Patricia Belgarde.
There will be a gathering of friends and family Jan. 20, 2013, at the Koala Street Grill at 2 p.m. in Omak. Come help us remember all the great things he has done in his life.
Graveside will follow later in the spring.
