Fay Louise Smith Allen, 87, of Tonasket, died Oc. 11, 2013 at North Valley Extended Care in Tonasket. She was born Aug. 11, 1927, in Tonasket to Charles and Buella Smith. Fay was a lifetime resident of Tonasket. On April 24, 1945 she married Raymond Allen in Tonasket. She spent many years working for Chief Warehouse and the Regal Fruit Warehouse. She was a member of the Tonasket Senior Citizens and the Tonasket Eagles. For many years, Fay attended the Oroville Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed her family, cooking, gardening and music.
She is survived by five sons, Irvin of Indianapolis, Ill., Ivan of Missouri, Ernest of Tonasket, Dale of Missouri and Randy of Wenatchee; two daughters, Dora Allen of Tonasket and Rosie Rhodes of Wenatchee; 22 grandchildren; and 36 great- grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; two sisters; and two daughters.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Tonasket Cemetery with Pastor Leon Alden officiating. Church services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Tonasket United Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the American Heart or Diabetes Association.
