Mary Elizabeth Thomas, 72, passed away March 15, 2014, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash.
Mary was born Jan. 27, 1942, to Raymond and Gladys Jagger in Yakima, Wash. She was the fourth of six children. She devoted her life to being a house wife and a mother. Her friends referred to her as “angel Mary.” Everyone she got to know, loved her.
She dedicated her life to Christ at a young age and was involved in helping out in the Okanogan church for the past 37 years, where she also had a ministry of visitation at the nursing home, by the church.
She loved to help people and loved the elderly. The last seven years, she cleaned houses for people and tended her vegetable garden.
Mary is survived by her husband, Don Thomas; daughters, Carolyn Thomas and Susan Parazoo; granddaughters, Michel and Kendra Parazoo; and great-granddaughter, Veronica Kay.
A memorial service will be 2 p. m, Saturday April 5, 2014, at New Life Centre in Okanogan, Wash.
