Nancy Ann (Olson) Wells was born Sept. 29, 1938, to Anne J. (Haney) Olson and Arthur J. Olson at Littlefork, Minn.
In 1942, the family moved to Oroville, Wash., and in 1944, to Omak. Nancy attended Omak schools and graduated in 1956 from Omak High School. She attended Kinman Business College in Spokane and worked as a bank teller in the clerical departments and as a bookkeeper for businesses in Omak until retiring.
In 1960, she married Kenneth O. Wells and they had one son, Kevin D. Wells.
Nancy was interested in many things. She liked to study the Bible, quilt, knit, sew and do other needle crafts. Nancy was a favorite with her grandson, Michael, and many of her cousins. She enjoyed the family gatherings where she kept the kids busy.
Nancy is survived by her son, Kevin of Omak; grandson, Michael of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; great-granddaughter, Nikole of Coeur d’Alene; aunts and uncle Madge Haney of Oroville, Wanda Haney of Ray, Minnesota, Lois Haney of Bend, Oregon, Winnie Barker of Oroville, Laura Hepp of Yakima, Jeanie Haney of Elephant Lake, Minn., Chet and Marge Haney of Tonasket.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Olson; mother, Anne Olson; brothers Donald Olson and Kenneth Wells. She worshipped at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
A memorial service will be at a later time.
