Mary Katherine (Ginn) Cook, 64, of Omak, Wash., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013. Katherine was born January 29, 1949 to Thomas Henry Ginn Sr. and Marion Louise Ginn in Tucson, Ariz. She lived a majority of her life in Arizona, but she also spent time in Missouri and Indiana.
She was a homemaker for many years and later worked several jobs in the food service industry. She was also a volunteer at the Omak Food Bank.
Katherine enjoyed beauty and nature in all things. She was special to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Tammy Corbin and Michael Corbin; two grandchildren, Keaton Lopez and Michael Corbin Jr.; mother, Marion (John) Thorp; two brothers, John (Robin) Ginn and Thomas “Butch” Ginn Jr.; sister, Kelly (Guy) Kelley; half-sisters, Linda Hanback, Karen (Michael) Ramirez, Robin Hanback, Sheila Ginn; and half-brother, Mark (Jennifer) Hanback; many nieces and nephews; and many others who considered her a Mom, Aunt, and Grandma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold “Bud” L. Cook.
