Thelma F. (Grillo) Warwick passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Jan. 20, 2014, from chronic health issues at the age of 73. She was born on Feb. 7, 1940, the eldest of three siblings, to Henry and Elaine Grillo in Tonasket, Wash.
Thelma leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Stan; sons, Rusty Warwick residing in Spokane, Wash., and Phil Warwick and his wife, Tina, residing in Kettle Falls, Wash; and her daughter, Kim Warwick of Spokane, Wash. She also leaves two grandchildren, Jessica Warwick, and Justin Warwick; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is survived by her mother, Elaine Grillo; brother, Marvin Grillo; and sister, Sherri Laurie.
Thelma graduated from Tonasket high school in 1958. After high school, she attended Kinman Business University of Spokane.
She loved doing her arts and crafts, gardening, all kinds of baking, cooking at hunting camp in Colorado, being outdoors and head over heels in a huckleberry patch. She was a very kind and loving grandma, and she will be missed very much.
Services will be held at noon Feb. 22, 2014, at Kettle Falls Legion Hall located at 1057 U.S. Highway 395, Kettle Falls, WA 99141.
