Steve Norris Reinke AKA "Fat Albert," 75, of Omak, Wash., passed away at his home Aug. 12, 2018.
He was born June 24, 1943, in Manitowoc, Wis., to Walter Albert Reinke and Mable Louise Reinke (Ritz).
He married his high school sweetheart Delores Ann Beetchenow on Feb. 22, 1966. They had two children, Darin and Tresa.
Although Steve had other jobs in his life, his ultimate dream was to be an owner-operator of his own truck. He purchased his 1st truck in the early 1980s. Over the years, he purchased seven more trucks. He lived that dream until health issues forced him into retirement in September 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three siblings; a nephew; and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Delores; his son, Darin (Debra); daughter, Tresa (Carl Jeglum); grandchildren, Kyle Reinke, Alysa Reinke, Sandy Jeglum (Chris), Loren Jeglum (Kacey and great-grandson, Tyler); two sisters, Kathy Digan and Karen Kennedy; and his in-laws the Beetchenows and Falkenbergs.
A gathering to tell and listen to stories about his life will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 22, 2018, at the Omak Elks Lodge.
Some of his favorite foods and desserts will be provided with a no host bar.
