Bonnie Sue (Stacey) Englert passed away Aug. 21, 2018, at home with her family around her. She was born in Fredrick Mo., Sept. 4, 1941, to Eileen and Clarence Stacey.
Following the timber industry, she moved with her family as a young child to Whatcom County, Washington. She was raised and attended School and Church in Lynden, Wash., where she met, Lawerence Dale Englert at Lynden Assembly of God Church. She married him soon out of high school. They moved to North Carolina, where Dale was stationed in the U.S. Army. After the Army they returned to Whatcom County and raised four children in Everson, Wash. Bonnie was a homemaker but also worked at Draper Valley Farms and she was also a manager for a Salvation Army Store for over 20 years. Upon their retiring, they moved to Riverside, Wash., and made many many friends.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and Clarence Stacey; siblings, Glen, Junior, Robert, Hazel, Fredia, and Virginia; and infant son, Carl Dale Englert.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Lawrence Dale Englert; children, Debra Buerger, Dennis (Mey) Englert, Renee Englert and Bryan Englert; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Mayomi) Stacey and Lydal (Shirley) Stacey; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at the Riverside Lighthouse Church in Riverside, Wash.
