Seth Harris, 32, of Omak, Wash., passed away Jan. 23, 2018. He was born in Renton, Wash., on Jan. 17, 1986, to Steve Harris and Raquell Palagi both of Billings, Mont. Seth spent his earlier childhood in Des Moines, Wash. Then moved to Okanogan where he graduated from Okanogan High School. He then graduated from WyoTech and spent a year in Florida (arriving just in time for Katrina) as a body and fender man and did custom interior work.
Seth returned to the Omak area in 2006 where he has either worked on cars, worked in construction or as an entrepreneur. His absolute passion was fishing and the apple of his eye was his one-year old daughter, Avrielle Raenaya Gilmer. The irony here is that Seth was preparing to semi-retire to spend more time with his daughter.
Seth will always be remembered for his kind heart and giving nature with a great sense of humor. He would do acts of kindness such as help people with bills when they were a little short or between paychecks, buy stockings and stuff them full so he could pass them out to children for Christmas, he helped several people get back their drivers license just to name a few. He would do anything he could to help anyone that was in need regardless if they asked or not. Seth was very respected and loved by everyone who had the privilege of having him pass through their life regardless of how brief the time may have been.
Seth is survived by his father, Steve Harris of Cathlamet, Wash.; sisters, Amber Jensen of Vancouver, Wash. and Autumn Harris of Battleground, Wash.; and brothers, Ken Harris of Battleground and Joshua Palagi of Cathlamet. He was preceded in death by his mother, Raquell Palagi; and his brother, Nate Mower.
