After a tenacious battle with the bully that cancer is, a legion of angels carried Cheryl to her heavenly home Sept. 16, 2018.
She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Tom Butler; stepson, Bryan; sister, Jean; nieces and nephew; and a multitude of friends.
Cheryl was born Feb. 13, 1951 in Omak, Wash. She was raised with fundamental values that would guide her through her life. The love of God, country, and family. A country girl at heart, she enjoyed the simple things in life; good friendships, music, dancing, the occasional sip of whiskey and a really good porch. She also believed that everyone should own at least one good pair of cowboy boots in their lifetime.
Her laugh was infectious and her smile could light up any room. She possessed a kind and giving nature. With a caring heart, she was always ready to help or lend her sage ear. She loved people and in return, they loved her back. She will be missed by so many.
