Celia Lorraine Tincher, 85, of Riverside, Wash. died Sept. 22, 2018 at her home. She was born June 21, 1933 to Cole and Maxine Woda in Golden, Colo. The family moved to the Chewilikin Valley then moved to Riverside. She graduated to from Riverside High School. While in high school she had a pen pal, James M. Tincher who was serving in the U.S. Army. James asked for her hand in marriage and they were married Sept. 11, 1952. The couple moved to Indiana right away. While in Indiana they had two daughters. They moved back to Washington where she gave birth to their son in Omak.
She lived in Riverside most of her married life. She worked for the Keystone Ranch off and on. Her and her husband delivered U.S. Mail for 10 years, before she retired to raise her family.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, James; two brothers, Lloyd Woda and family, of Okanogan and Melvin Woda and family, of Eugene, Ore.; her two daughters, Anita Lee and Cynthia Marie; her son, James Robert; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and one brother.
A memorial service will be decided for a later date. Donations may be made to the Riverside Volunteer Fire Department in her name.
