Sally Ann Ayers, 75 of Okanogan, Wash. passed away Oct. 2, 2018.
Sally was born July 16, 1943 to Herman and Louise Rehfield in Mason City, Iowa.
She was raised with her eight siblings: Bill, Tom, Ron, John, Dickie, Tim, Barb and Mary.
She spent many years in Yakima, Wash. There she had four children: Tony, Gina, Becky and Greg.
After being divorced for some time she moved her family to Soap Lake, Wash. and continued to raise her kids.
After her kids were all nearly full grown she moved to Omak, Wash.
Throughout the years she became a Grandma to 13 children: Anthony, Brandon, Daniel, Matthew, Michella, Steven, Ashly, Tara, Rachel, Tatyana, Mariah, Michael and Cory.
She had 12 great-grandchildren: Ava, Declan, Liam, Bonnie, Hazel, Cory Jr., Teagan, Tatum, Nolin, Gideon, Jordann, Freddy III and one great-grandson on the way (baby Steve due January 2019)
She loved her family and enjoyed being around all of them. She helped raise grandkids, opened her home to her kids and their families when they needed a place to stay and was a Grandma to many who were not related. In previous years holidays were often spent at her home. She was an ornery woman with a good heart. She adored her dogs, enjoyed her whiskey and loved to "Do it her way."
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Dickie, Tom and John; and son-in-law, Steve Rozenberg.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m., Saturday Oct. 20, 2018 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. add Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
