Juanita Mae (Buchanan) Davis passed away Aug. 26, 2018. Born to Roland and Mrytle (Foster) Buchanan Feb. 27, 1927 in Seattle Wash., she was the fifth of six children.
The family moved around a lot settling in Okanogan. What stories she told of growing in the depression and some of the hi-jinko her brothers and sisters and herself had to.
Juanita met an married the love of her life, Jack Davis, Dec. 24, 1947. They were married for 44 years before his passing in August 1991. Of this union three children were born Nancy, Ronnie and Terri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; son, Ronnie; her mother, Mrytle; father, Roland; brothers, Ted, Bob and Lorne; sisters, Muriel and Dorothy; and son-in-laws, Steve Gardner and Gary Robbins.
She is survived by daughter, Terri Robbins (Ralph Cress), of Okanogan; daughter, Nancy Gardner of Omak; granddaughter, Shyla Gardner (Ross Grey) of Omak; Shad Gardner (Bree) of Sunnyvale, Texas, and Cass Robbins (Rocky) of Omak; great- grandchildren whom she referred to as her munchkins, Carson, Brew, Kaelyn, Blake, and Levi Gardner of Sunnyvale, Texas; Ashley Jozlyn and Malachi Robbins of Omak; Sarah Gray of Spokane, Wash., and Wylie Gray of Omak; great-great-granddaughter, Wylder.
There was a private family graveside service at the Riverside Cemetery on Aug. 31, 2018.
