Nancy Taylor, 76, died Dec. 11, 2018 near Monse, Wash. Brewster, Wash., was her residence but Spokane, Wash. was where she was born in 1942 and where her heart was. She loved being a travel agent and was a very vibrant woman with a flair for the dramatic. She was an active member of Colon Cancer Prevention as she was a survivor herself. She was the great-granddaughter of Henry Dewitz who discovered the Bodie Mine in the late 1800's in Okanogan County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Taylor; her mother, Virginia Schmidt; and her dad, William Schmidt. She is survived by her sons, Terry Taylor of Brewster, and Tim Taylor from Tuscan, Ariz.; and her grandchildren, Zachary Taylor, Montanah Taylor and Tiffany Mannikko, all of Brewster, Trevor Owen, of Okanogan Wash., William Taylor, Emerson Taylor, Isabella Taylor, Ellie Taylor and Tallie Taylor, all of Arizona. She is also survived by her sister, Polly Barack of Ocean Shores, Wash.; and her aunt, Nene Fickle of Port Orchard, Wash.
She will be very missed.
