Cowboys and cowgirls interested in participating in the Okanogan County Fair Rodeo Sept. 7-8 may enter as local contestants through the PRO-WEST central entry office.
     Entries will be accepted from 1-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, for all local contestants, reports Kathy Proctor, PRO-WEST secretary

     Events at the rodeo include bareback riding, saddle bronc, bull riding, calf roping, breakaway roping, steer wrestling, team roping and barrel racing, said Proctor.
     Boys 14 and under also are eligible to enter as breakaway ropers.
