Jonnie Crossland, Malott, was crowned the Okanogan County Junior Rodeo queen Oct. 13.
Princess will be Tiffany Mannikko, Okanogan.
Other candidates included Jerian Ashley for queen and Jessica Ashley, Emily Stevens and Montanah Taylor for princess.
Competition included judging in speeches, horsemanship, portfolios and impromptu questions.
Outgoing queen Amanda Emerson and princess Kameron Smith gave farewell speeches.
Association president Mike Ables presented scholarships of $700 to Emerson and $275 to Smith.
Crossland received the queen horsemanship award and miss congeniality.
Mannikko received the princess horsemanship award.
Crossland, 14, is the daughter of John and Janet Crossland, Malott. She attends Okanogan High School and competes in basketball and volleyball.
She's active in 4-H, Boots and Saddles Barrel Racing Club, Caribou Trail Junior Rodeo Association and Washington State High School Rodeo.
Mannikko, 11, lives with her guardians Terry and Tammy Taylor, and attends Okanogan Middle School. She said she has great fun swimming, horseback riding, camping and spending time with her friends.
