Lady golfers start season April 3

     Ladies of the Okanogan Valley Golf Club opened the season April 3 with a breakfast meeting.
     It was soon followed by a golf scramble won by Jo Ann Thomas and Barb Brown.
     Donna Hedlund and Lu Schneider won the chip-in pot.
     The April weekly winners were Lorraine Schumann - Criers 3, Lu Schneider - ones, and Schumann - least putts.
     All interested women golfers are welcome to join the group, which meets at 8 a.m. Thursdays to golf at Okanogan Valley Golf Club, according to the group.
