Omak, Okanogan land players on baseball’s all-league first team
     Omak's Brandon Ray (senior) and Juan Garcia (junior) along with Okanogan's Casey Cardenas (senior) were named to the Caribou Trail League baseball all-league in recent voting.
     Brewster's Rick Witt was named coach of the year.
     The Bears landed three on the first team - J.R. Jarrell (senior), Austin Benson (senior) and Eli Driessen (sophomore).
     Chelan's Roy Figueroa was named the most valuable player.
     Others on the first team included Kellen Parton (senior), Cascade; Curtis Pusey (junior), Chelan; and Trevor Davis (junior), Cashmere.
     Cashmere received the team sportsmanship award.
     Those named to the second team included Chris Lockwood (senior) and Matt Howe (senior) for Omak, and John DeLap (sophomore) for Okanogan.
     Others on the second team included Gabe Webster (senior), Brewster; Taylor Isadore (sophomore) and Jon Betz (junior), Cascade; Greg Schultz (junior), Chelan; and Brandon Williams (senior), Cashmere.
     Honorable mention went to Jordan Bradley (sophomore), Okanogan; Brett McCarty (senior), Omak; Grant Leavell (senior) and Daniel Montano (senior), Tonasket; Cole Youngers (senior) and Mick Reese (senior), Brewster; Justin Haight (senior), Jordan Weddle (senior, Luke Schauer (senior) and Adam Jeffris (senior), Cascade; Josh Burberry (sophomore), Chelan; Dylan Tipps (sophomore), Mike Reihm (junior) and Brad Reeves (senior), Lake Roosevelt.
