     Juan Saa, Ecuador, and Laura Temby, Tonasket, were the men’s and women’s singles champions, respectively, at the Mid-Valley Tennis Tournament July 31-Aug. 3 at the North Cascades Athletic Club in Omak.
     Saa defeated Riley Schultz, Wenatchee, 6-2, 6-2 while Temby, Tonasket High School tennis coach, beat Bailey Talmadge, Omak, 4-6, 6-2, 10-5 in the finals.
     Mark Milner and Kirk Vradenburg were the men’s doubles champion after beating Jack Rechtin and Riley Schultz 6-2, 6-2.
     Michelle Hardesty and Kristi Walker were the intermediate A women’s doubles champions while Bailey Talmadge and Cindy Vidano were the intermediate B women’s doubles champions.
