Anglers getting rich catching fish in Curlew Lake
More anglers got rich last month by catching fish in Curlew Lake this summer, according to Dick Beers.
The event is presented by the Curlew Lake Association.
Beers said there continue to be tagged fish in the lake, including one worth $500.
The fish must be turned in, uncleaned at Tiffany’s Resort.
“We urge everyone to support our local tag sponsors,” Beers said.
Winners (July 1-27): Harry Ordwary Jr., $10, sponsored by Pine Grove Junction; Paul Carnino, $10, The outfitters; Aida Walden, donated, Andersons Grocery; Frank Sartin, $10, Klondike Motel; Dillon Schuck, $10, Larson Family; Chad Coleman, $50, Larson Family; David Vincent, $25, Ferry County PUD.
