Competitors in Pro-West wrapped up the final weekend of competition at the Okanogan County Fair as well as two other rodeos.
Final standings prior to the Pro-West Finals Oct. 3-4 in Yakima had yet to be posted Monday afternoon, reported rodeo secretary Kelly Haptonstall.
But Justin King in bareback, Jacoby Stacy in saddle bronc, Johnny Sloan in tie-down roping and Sadie Meyers each won at the county fair rodeos and apparently will remain in solid second places in the final standings.
Erik Johnson, who currently leads in the standings in steer wrestling, won the event at the fair.
Cheyenne Allan, currently fourth in the barrel racing standings but less than $260 out of second place, captured $545.49 at the Pro-West rodeo in Okanogan. All the competitors ahead of her did not compete at the rodeo.
Northern Cross Rodeo and Glenn Herriman provided stock. Herriman and Joe Pat Node were pickup men.
Jonathan Abrahamson and Clint Watson were bullfighters.
Judges were Kelly Knapp and Larry Smith. Timers were Jennifer Hubbard and SueEllen Smith.
Don Henderson was the announcer.
