Veronica Puente was Tonasket's top runner at the Mid-Basin Invitational Sept. 20 at Moses Lake State Park.
Puente covered the 5,000-meter (3.1 mile) course in 22 minutes, 42 seconds to take seventh place.
Adrianna Sharp was the Tigers' other female finisher, taking 44th in 27:46.
The Tonasket boys finished seventh out of 11 teams led by Damon Halvorsen in 20th place at 19:20.
Other Tiger runners included Peter Williams, 21st in 19:25; Tyler Monroe, 34th in 20:03; Matthew Gschiel, 38th in 20:12; Spencer Podkranic, 49th in 20:55; Corey McCrarey, 51st in 21:00; and Tomek Stefaniak, 56th in 21:22.
Junior varsity runners were Trey Jensen, 18th in 21:23, and Kellen Sauer, 21st in 21:37.
The Moses Lake boys took first place overall, followed by Pasco, Ephrata and Cashmere.
Next up for the Tigers is the Liberty Bell Tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 23.
