OMAK — Reardan boys basketball clamped down on Omak defensively, limiting the Pioneers to four third quarter points en route to a 54-45 win Dec. 4.
Omak led 32-26 heading into the third quarter only to be outscored 11-4.
Omak coach Lance O’Dell said Reardan keyed on Isaac Bessette, who had 11 points in the first half. He had three in the second half.
“Reardan made some halftime adjustments defensively that we didn’t respond to very well,” O’Dell said.
Omak was without Jordan George, who said he was out three weeks following for an appendectomy, and JoJo LaGrou, who is letting a turned ankle from football heal.
LaGrou could be back later this week.
Omak stays home to play Warden on Dec. 8 and Tonasket on Dec. 10. The Pioneers play at Liberty Bell on Dec. 12.
Omak (45) - Daniel Sanchez 2, CJ Lockwood 8, Isaac Bessette 14, Adam Hein 0, Austin Baker 4, Jesse Riggle 10, Justin Dibble 4, Zach Day 3.
Reardan (54): Grant Schutz 15, Trevor Peone 17.
