BREWSTER — The Lake Roosevelt boys basketball team came from being down 32-31 at the half to dismantle the Bears 58-48 on Jan. 29.
“It was just another night in the CTL,” Raider coach Brad Wilson said. “Nip and tuck and lucky to get out of there with a W.”
In the first half, both teams had two players making most of the points.
For the Raiders, Cade Egbert had 18 points and Ty Egbert nine.
For the Bears, Stockton Taylor had 16 points and Eli Driessen had 12.
After three quarters, Lake Roosevelt led 46-45 before going on a 16-2 run in the fourth quarter.
Kramer Carlson hit a three-pointer for a 53-46 lead before Eli Driessen, shooting over the top of 6-6 Ty Egbert, scored Brewster’s lone points of the quarter to cut the lead to 53-48 with 2:42 to go.
On Friday, Feb. 5, Okanogan is at Brewster and Cashmere at Lake Roosevelt.

League-leading Chelan got off to a roaring start, outscoring Brewster 27-7 in the first quarter then lumping on an 18-4 run in the second quarter before beating the Bears 82-44 on Jan. 26.
