Omak boys bowling finishes second in league, qualifies for state
     MOSES LAKE - Omak's No. 1 boys and girls bowling teams qualified for the state tournament following the final Central Washington Travel League competition Jan. 24 at Lakebowl.
     Omak honors earned this year include Hailey Hauso with high average for girls. Ramsi Marchand was fifth in average. Marchand won the year's high series for girls at 609, coach Dale Dunckel said.
     For the boys, Jason VanderWeide was fourth highest in average in the league.
     Varsity team standings: 1, Eastmont No. 1. 2, Omak No. 1. 3, Moses Lake No. 1. 4, Moses Lake No. 2. 5, Omak girls. 6, Wenatchee. 7, Omak No. 2. 8, Eastmont No. 2.
     High boys scores Jan. 24: Jason VanderWeide 243, 204, 209, 1,236. Cody Reddington 204, 222, 201, 1,175. Skyler Baker 215, 214, 202, 1,134. Cody Thorp 208, 1,059. Chris Desjardins 176, 965. Jason Herrst 176, 878. Jordan Bradley 164, 848. Abe Batten 165, 832.

     In the junior varsity league, Omak No. 1 finished first.

     Omak's Justin VanderWeide took high game for the season and Jacob Lawson high series.
     Bryson Miller earned the most individual points in the league. Drew Autry received the sportsmanship award, which was voted upon by the other league bowlers.
