...LOW ELEVATION SNOW POSSIBLE FOR MUCH OF SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON
AND NORTHWEST OREGON OVERNIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING...
Another storm system is expected to bring snow levels down into
the lowlands again later tonight and Friday morning. A band of
precipitation will move through the region from south to north
starting after midnight and continuing through mid-morning Friday.
Elevations above 1000 feet will likely see anywhere from 1 to 3
inches of snowfall accumulation. Below 1000 feet, slushy
accumulations of an inch or less are possible, mainly above the
valley floor. Snow accumulations below 1000 feet should generally
remain confined to grassy surfaces, with roads likely remaining
too warm to accumulate.
