Children present the nativity scene at the 2017 Mount Olive Grange Christmas Party in Riverside.

RIVERSIDE – Two Grange groups plan holiday parties in the coming weeks.

Mount Olive Grange will have its Christmas party at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the hall, 317 N. Main St.

The Grange will provide table service, beverages, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy and dinner rolls. Sides and dessert are potluck.

Live and silent auctions are planned, with proceeds going to the group’s benevolence fund to help local families in need.

Santa will visit. Parents are asked to bring gifts for their own children and mark them with the children’s names. Santa will give out the gifts.

A gift exchange for adults also is planned. The price limit is $10. Gifts should be marked for a male or female recipient.

Okanogan Grange’s party will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at the hall, 305 Tyee St.

Dinner will be potluck.

A white elephant gift exchange is planned.

Both events are open to anyone interested.
