Okanogan celebrates homecoming this week

OKANOGAN – Homecoming activities are happening this week at Okanogan High School.

Locker decorating was Sunday, Oct. 7, followed by PJ/comfy dress-up day on Monday, hero dress-up day and Mario Kart lunchtime competition on Tuesday.

“Random acts of royalty” are ongoing all week.

Today, Oct. 10, is class color dress-up day, with Goofy Games, powder puff football at 6 p.m. at macho volleyball following football.

Team day is tomorrow’s dress-up day, with “just dance” as the lunchtime competition. Soccer and volleyball teams take on Cahmere.

Friday is Bulldog pride day for dress-up. A pep assembly is planned. Football will be at 7 p.m. against Cashmere.

Saturday’s homecoming dance runs from 8-11 p.m. in the cafetorium, 244 S. Fifth Ave. Admission will be charged.

School spirit dress-up days at Virginia Grainger Elementary School this week are:

Wednesday – Color day (dress in all one color from head to toe).

Thursday – Team day (wear a favorite team jersey, shirt or colors).

Friday – Bulldog day (wear Bulldog gear or crimson and gray).

Monday was hero day and Tuesday was dress your best day (picture day).
