Blues festival is this weekend in Electric City

ELECTRIC CITY – A four-day rhythm and blues festival is set for Sept. 6-9 at Sunbanks Lake Resort, 57662 Highway 155.

Sunbanks Blues Festival will be outdoors against the backdrop of Banks Lake in the Grand Coulee. Admission will be charged.

Performers include Commander Cody, Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, Michelle Malone, Too Slim and the Taildraggers, Junkyard Jane, John Bunzow, Levee Town, Dead Man, Shoot Jake, Felix Y Los Gatos, Barnyard Stompers, Fabulous Roofshakers, Sister Mercy, Hambone Wilson, Little Bill Trio, Rob Tudor and the Holy Grail, and Mark Hurwitz.

Festivities begin Thursday evening with acoustic music in the cantina, a rock garden amphitheater. Friday through Sunday performances are on the main stage.

Tent camping, RV sites with full hookups, cabins and villas are available. Also on site are a boat launch and moorage, miniature golf, beach access, restaurant and bar, shopping, massage therapy and more.

The festival is open to those age 21 and older. Pets are not permitted.
