OMAK – “The Curious Savage,” staged by the Pioneer Players drama club at Omak High School, opens this weekend in the Omak Performing Arts Center, 14 S. Cedar St.

Curtain time is 7 p.m. Nov. 9, 10, 16 and 17. Admission will be charged; children under age 12 will be admitted free.

The play follows an elderly widow, Mrs. Savage, who inherits $10 million when her husband dies. She has her own ideas about how to use the money to create good in the world – she wants to give it all away so people can pursue their “foolish dreams” – but her stepchildren, worried about losing their legacy, commit her to a sanatorium.
