Okanogan High School hosted a softball jamboree April 10 with Tonasket and Brewster. Okanogan coach Darin Radke said Okanogan won the mini game against Tonasket. In game 2, Brewster and Tonasket tied, while Okanogan won game 3 over Brewster. “It was awesome to see the girls back out on the field,” he said. “It was frustrating to have our season canceled last spring, so I was so happy for all three teams to finally play some ball. With only five practices before the jamboree, all three teams, I’m sure, found things they needed to work on. Since both Tonasket and Brewster are well-coached teams, it will be cool to see how they have improved when we play them later in the season.”
