Democratic challenger for 4th Congressional District seat tours region

Christine Brown, Democratic challenger to the 4th Congressional District’s Republican incumbent Rep. Dan Newhouse, continues her RV tour across northcentral Washington this week.

Brown engaged voters in Oroville, Tonasket and Okanogan on Monday and folks in Mazama and Okanogan earlier today.

Today, May 8, she plans on hosting a Town Hall meeting at the Methow Valley Community Center, 201 Highway 20 South, in Twisp from 6-8 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 9, Brown will host “Coffee with Christine” 8-10 a.m. at Cinnamon Twisp Bakery, 116 Glover St. N; a meet and greet 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Bridgeport Public Library, 1206 Columbia Ave.; and a town hall meeting 6-8 p.m. at Coulee Dam Town Hall, 300 Lincoln Ave.

On Thursday, May 10, she will be at Voltage Coffee, 140 Spokane Way, in Grand Coulee from 8-10 a.m. and Blue Rooster Bakery & Art Gallery, 100 W. Walnut St., in Waterville from 12-2 p.m.

Then, she plans to speak in Rock Island, East Wenatchee, Ephrata, Moses Lake, Othello, Yakima and Kennewick. Brown’s set to complete her tour on candidate filing day Monday, May 14, in Kennewick.
