Blaze quickly extinguished south of Tonasket

Crews from the state Department of Natural Resources extinguish a small fire south of Tonasket Tuesday, June 5.

TONASKET - Fire crews quickly extinguished a small fire yesterday, June 5, south of town.

According to the Northeast Washington Interagency Communications Center, the blaze was reported shortly before 1 p.m. off Eberle Road south of Janis Bridge.

The 2-acre blaze was quickly extinguished.
