WASHINGTON, D.C. — Eastern Washington's congressional representatives both voted to undo President Obama's executive orders relating to immigration.

Reps. Kathy McMorris Rodgers of Spokane and Dan Newhouse voted in line with most other House Republicans objecting to Obama's previous orders on deportation relief for illegal immigrants.

Two measures designed to undo Obama's unilateral actions passed the House — a measure rolling back temporary deportation relief signed by Obama in November passed 237-190 and a measure upended a 2012 order halting deportation of children here illegally passed 218-209.

Western Washington Republicans David Reichert of Issaquah and Jaime Herrera Beutler of Vancouver also supported both measures.

Meanwhile, Western Washington Democrats Reps. Suzan Del Bene of Bothell, Denny Heck of Lacey, Derek Kilmer of Tacoma, Rick Larsen of Everett, Jim McDermott of Seattle and Adam Smith of Renton all opposed both measures.
