THE STATE OF WASHINGTON TO:

THE METHOW TRADING COMPANY, and the unknown successors and/or heirs of THE METHOW TRADING COMPANY, if deceased, and also all other persons or parties unknown claiming any right, title, estate, lien or interest in the real estate described in the Complaint herein,

YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to appear within sixty (60) days after the date of the first publication of this Summons, to-wit, within sixty (60) days after the 6th day of February, 2019, and defend the above entitled action in the above entitled Court, and answer the Complaint of the Plaintiff above described, and serve a copy of your answer upon the undersigned attorney for Plaintiff, Derting & Appel, PLLC, Mary E. (Bess) Derting, at her office below stated; and in case of your failure so to do, judgment will be rendered against you according to the demand of the Complaint, which has been filed with the Clerk of said Court. The object of this action to establish an easement by prescription over certain real property in Okanogan County, Washington, to-wit:

An Easement, thirty feet (30.00’) in width over and across that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 34 North, Range 21 East, Willamette Meridian and the centerline being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the Point of Intersection of the East side of Corral Street and the South side of Bluff Street, in the Town of Winthrop, Washington;

Thence South 03°18’00” East for a distance of 491.69 feet to the to the Northerly side of a lane known as Lufkin Lane;

Thence continuing South 03°18’00” East for a distance of 15.00 feet to TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of said centerline of said Lufkin lane;

Thence from said Point of Beginning, along said centerline North 86°42’00” East for a distance of 10.00 feet to the Easterly right of way of Corral Street as vacated;

Thence continuing along said centerline North 86°42’00” East for a distance of 500.00 feet to the Terminus of said centerline.
