Omak Mayor Cindy Gagne is sworn in for another term.

OMAK – Officials elected in November 2021 were sworn in during the Omak City Council’s Jan. 3 meeting.

City Attorney Mick Howe administered the oath of office to Mayor Cindy Gagne and council members Nattalie Cariker, Michael Foth and Michelle Gaines, all of whom were re-elected last fall.

Foth was elected mayor pro tempore.

In other business, the council:

-Saw David Ebenger sworn in as municipal court judge.

-Saw several employees recognized: James Murray and Gary Miller, five years with the police department; Shane Shaefer, 10 years with the plice department; Matt Thompson, 10 years with the public works department; Gary Lewis, 15 years as code enforcement officer, and Denise Hardy, 20 years as clerk’s office administrative assistant and court clerk.

-Saw Police Chief Dan Christensen present a certificate and chief’s coin to Officer Dustin Silverthorn for his work on a burglary case.
