Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle wreck south of town last night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

TONASKET - Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle wreck south of town last night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Around 7:07 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, crews responded to a two-vehicle wreck near milepost 313 after a vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle in the northbound lane of Highway 97, the Patrol said.

Minor injuries were reported, but no one was reported as transported to the hospital, Public Information Officer Trooper John Bryant said.

The roadway was cleared at 8:46 p.m.

The patrol did not provide the names of the drivers and/or passengers.

A witness to the collision was arrested at the scene by a county deputy on suspicion of DUI, according to Bryant.
