1944-2020
James was born April 27, 1944 in Tonasket, Wash. to Arthur and Daisy (Anderson) Peterson. He passed away Dec. 11, 2020 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Jim graduated from Okanogan High School in 1962, and Eastern Washington University in 1967. He went to work for Boeing in the IT Dept for 45 years.
After the death of his wife, Dianna (Verstegen), he retired in 2012 and spent as much time as possible at his beloved cabin on Crawfish Lake, especially in the winter. He so enjoyed snowmobiling and his many friends at the lake.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his brother, Don (Lin), of Spokane, Wash., special friend, Sonia Ault, of Spokane; cousins, Gene Williams, and Cheryl Williams, Spokane, and Julie Stathes, Encinitas, Calif.; and numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews.
