Fast times posted at Tonasket meet

TONASKET — Some blistering times were turned in at the Tonasket Invitational on Wednesday.

Erin Mullins of Cascade covered the 2.8-mile course in 17 minutes, 11 seconds.

Mullins is listed as the No. 1 1A runner in the state over 5K by a minute over the No. 2 runner.

Mereck Palazzo of Chelan won the boys’ race in 14:48, 50 seconds ahead of Omak’s Israel Escamilla (15:38).

Omak Invitational

The Omak Invitational cross country meet is Wednesday, Oct. 5, at East Side Park.

The meet starts at 3:45 p.m. with a one-mile run by sixth grade boys and girls.

Middle school runners take off at 4 p.m. on a 1.5-mile run.

Varsity girls start at 4:30 p.m. and varsity boys at 5:15 p.m. on a xx-mile course.
